Here is a video of Eric Bruneton and Fabrice Neyret's method of rendering Atmospheric Scattering using precomputed textures. I'm rendering it as a post process using depth and other info from my gBuffer. As a post process this effect integrates easily with my other effects like depth of field / motion blur.

I plan on implementing their method of shadows and light shafts that utilizes shadow volumes in the future.
