Temples are friendly places. I can't help compare temples to churches. If you have ever wandered into an empty church, you might have felt the hushed silence. You won't feel that in a temple. You might feel a little intimidated at first, but when you get to know your way around the different idiosyncrasies and rituals you will come to realise that everything about them is welcoming, almost as if the temple wants you to have a warm, friendly, interactive time.

Of all the things to do in Thailand, I never thought visiting temples would be a thing of interest to young Stephen Charles, but I was wrong. Apart from the interesting history every temples seem to have in abundance, everything about them lures you into having a good time.
