Emergency on VATSIM? Shared Cockpit A320 Malfunction (ATC Included)

My friend Austin and I run into some trouble while flying on the VATSIM network when our shared-cockpit Airbus A320 setup malfunctions while descending into Ft. Lauderdale Int'l (KFLL). Austin had flight controls when he experienced a sudden game crash ("fatal error" message) at which point I was stuck in a descent unable to control anything in the cockpit. ATC inquired if we were declaring emergency but I gave it some time and the controls finally transferred back to me, at which point I regained the aircraft and continued the approach myself. It's not your typical "emergency" situation, but it was an interesting sequence of events nonetheless. Thanks for watching! (MORE BELOW)
