Whether you're a serious cinephile or a middling moviegoer, chances are you've seen at least one of the many classic films starring legendary actor Omar Sharif. From 1962's "Lawrence of Arabia'' to 2003's "Monsieur Ibrahim," which led to Sharif winning the French equivalent of an Academy Award, the movie star's extensive and multifaceted filmography spanned decades. Coupled with an obsession with the card game bridge, for which Sharif played in multiple World Bridge Olympiads, it's clear that the Egyptian actor had a truly fascinating life. Sadly, the celebrated Sharif passed away from a heart attack in 2015 following extensive health struggles and a dwindling interest in acting. These were the tragic final days of Omar Sharif.
