Bass is surprisingly good with active noise canceling on. Very punch and crisp. It wasn't forced or fake. The mids and highs sound good also. Overall these are some of the best sounding headphones I've used. I did have to burn them in for a few days.

20db of noise reduction. I found they worked very well. Working in my local coffee shop I was able to keep them at 50% and the ambient sound was blocked out very well. Sometimes you can feel the suction of the active noise canceling but not with these.

If you're in market for high end active noise canceling headphones I highly recommend the B76. They look absolutely amazing, the metal build is top notch and they are one of best sounding headphones I've used. If you are going on a long flight use to 3.5mm cord because the battery life is OK.
