How to change a BMW diamond key battery. E46 E39 X3 X5 Z4

#bmw #key #diy If you have a BMW diamond key and it’s not working anymore it will most likely be the battery.

A replacement key fob costs over £200 from a BMW dealership so why not replace the battery for significantly less.

This video shows you how to replace the battery on keys for the E46 E39 X3 X5 Z4 and other BMWs from the same time period.

Please check the battery contacts are the correct position, some have the contacts opposite each other and some are 90 degrees.
