Final Fantasy VII Strahl Community Challenge - 33 - Ultimate Weapon

Before fighting this battle, we need to chase Ultimate Weapon around the overworld and engage it in smaller fights. This process takes a while, but we just end up pegging it for as much damage as we can before it runs. It isn't worth showing.

Frankly, the final battle in Cosmo Canyon might not be worth showing either. This is sorta the "main battle" since you can't expect it to run away and must deplete 20 000 HP all at once. Its Thunderball can be absorbed by the Stealable Bolt Armlet. Its Ultima Beam is the one attack (IIRC) in the North American release that has the "Hidden" element, which we can become immune to by pairing our newly leveled Elemental Materia with a green Materia that has no element. Finally, its Shadow Flare death counter can be dealt with via the Reflect Ring. Therefore, we are invincible here.
