Khao Lak is a perfect place for surfers and beach lovers. However, this town has gone through a lot. It got hit the hardest during the 2004 Tsunami on boxing day. Despite that, the community has rebuilt itself stronger and better than ever. This travel documentary reminds me of Maui today, a tragic event in paradise. I like to send thoughts and prayers to those affected. I am hopeful that just like Khao Lak, Maui community will get through and recover from this tragedy.
