Decided to take a day trip to Chiang Rai since I was solo traveling after my business trip.
Chiang Rai's rather far and some ask if it's worth the time traveling there. IMO, it's quite a worthwhile trip, especially if you combine it with the golden triangle which allows you to technically be in Thailand, Myanmar and Laos at the same time (which I didn't get the time to visit).
