Mercedes C240 V6 Elegance Saloon, 4360 miles from new! Museum quality survivor ! SOLD

For our first ever video we are featuring a probably unique, ' time warp' 4360 mile from new, 21 year old 1998 Mercedes C240 V6 Elegance Saloon. Showroom original quality throughout. Delivered new in Jersey to an elderly owner who sadly passed away in 2004. The car was then retained by his wife for sentimental reasons until early 2019 when she had to move to a nursing home aged in her 90s. She was not a regular driver so the car was stored unused in her heated garage until Spring 2019 when the family were in a position to sell the car with her approval. We acquired the car from Jersey in June of 2019 with just under 4300 miles. Surely there cannot be another example with such low mileage in the UK, if not Europe or possibly the whole World.
Finished in metallic Smoke Silver with Light Beige cloth interior with matching Beige carpets and Wood trim. Usual specification includes switchable automatic, power steering, anti-lock brakes, front and side airbags, traction control, front and rear electric windows, electric mirrors, power folding mirrors, cruise control, factory alloy wheels still fitted with the original Michelin Pilot tyres, factory stereo cassette and remote central locking with 2 keys. Additionally this car comes with both an electric tilt/slide sunroof and ice-cold air-conditioning and fitted over mats.
The car had 4 services in the 4000 miles for which we have the duplicate invoices and we have just had an oil service carried out in June 2019 at the same time as the first UK MOT which needless to say had no advisories. In addition to the service bills we have the original wallet containing the appropriate handbooks and the Jersey documentation.
The original spare steel wheel has never been on the road and the Michelin Pilot tyre is unmarked. Even the original new bolts supplied by Mercedes for the steel wheel are in the unopened bag and the tool roll remains unopened.
We think this truly a unique vehicle for the Mercedes collector / enthusiast.
