ANDRIE INCORPORATED TUG GL OSTRANDER LARGE NORTH AMERICA

Tugboat Tuesday with the tug GL Ostrander and Integrity.

Originally built in 1976 by Halter Marine of Pierre Part, Louisiana and launched as the Andrew Martin.


After a fire in 1981, the vessel was laid up for several years until it was purchased by Robert Torres of River Marine Contractors Inc of Paducah, Kentucky and named after the owner.


In 1993, she was renamed the Jacklyn M. after her new owner , the Jacklyn Shipping Company of Tampa Florida.


She was sold in 1996 to LaFarge North America and retained her name until 2002, when she was renamed the G.L. Ostrander. 


Tug operations were contracted out to Andrie Incorporated.
