The trademark BMW design features are back, Hofmeister, front graphics, rear view stance and I’ll point all of this out to you in detail once we jump into Photoshop.

These BMW features are all there however in the Vision Circular Concept they’re designed in a more product design approach but that’s ok because of the package of this car and who the target audience is.

So many people dislike the BMW i Vision Circular Concept but I’m a fan of this design. I think it’s a refreshing step towards implementing the traditional BMW design language and features onto a completely new volume.

The front fender and doors of the BMW i Vision Circular Concept are made from aluminium however the rear fender is made of steel and what’s really cool about it is the surface treatment.

It’s been treated with high temperature and heat to give a very smooth transition between the anodized aluminium and the blue tone steel.

It reminds me of the blue coloring you get at the very end of exhaust pipes caused by the extreme heat.

I’m pleased to see this design approach from BMW in the BMW i Vision Circular Concept. It’s fresh and modern but at the same time it keeps many of the traditional design features that make BMW great.
