A crazy desert storm (aka haboob) rolled in on me while I was camping on the Alvord Dry Lakebed...and I figured I'd better get off the lakebed, just in case it got too muddy to drive on. It reminded me of the time I did actually get stuck in/on a "dry" lakebed outside Vegas...so pour yourself a cold one, sit back and enjoy the tale!
