Dedicated to our Elders

"Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching" (1 Tim 5 v.17).

The scripture says the spirit of the man will sustain him in sickness, But who can bear a broken spirit? -- Throughout our family lineage, we have had some remarkable matriarchs and patriarchs who have steered the family well. These elders have sown seed and have passed on to their rewards. I took a moment to reflect on our glorious spotted tapestry of special elders who have rocked the cradle well and the results have spoken wonders through the generations. God bless those that passed the baton to our generation, and I pray strength for the new members of the family who will carry these traditions onward. This is a brief, reverent look at a few of our elders and the offspring they've launched into the world.
