These traditions have influenced and been carried across the globe, leaving their mark in Haitian Vodou, New Orleans Voodoo, Cuban Regla de Palo, Lucumí, Regla de Ocha, Brazilian Umbanda and Candomblé, as well as African American expressive culture.

But we can’t ignore the harsh realities happening right now in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where millions are facing displacement, violence, and exploitation.💔
