In this video we are going to explain some features of MDT that can be useful for the OpenBim work methodology, using files in IFC format.

We start by exporting topographic surfaces and earthworks to IFC, opening the result with a free viewer. Next we define sets of properties that we assign to the earthworks. We then export a road with its pavement layers, and finish by importing an IFC file that contains an alignment and a surface.
