Authorities in Euclid are investigating after two people were shot and killed at an apartment complex Tuesday night.

According to Euclid police, the incident began on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at around 7:15 p.m., when a disturbance allegedly broke out among a crowd in the parking lot of the GreenRidge on Euclid apartments.

During the alleged disturbance, gunfire erupted in the crowd, resulting in two people being shot. Police say they attempted lifesaving efforts, but the victims died as a result of their injuries.

In details confirmed Wednesday morning, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the following victims were identified from the shooting:

20-year-old Antwon Grier
21-year-old Mariana Grier
Euclid police also noted that the victims were brother and sister.

Authorities say they are currently searching for multiple suspects, but did locate two vehicles they believe belonged to the perpetrators. The circumstances surrounding what led up to the shooting have not been confirmed.
