Restoration of Vintage Radial Arm Saw: '57 DeWalt MBF

Описание к видео Restoration of Vintage Radial Arm Saw: '57 DeWalt MBF

Restoration and modification of a 1957 DeWalt MBF radial arm saw (RAS). Some upgrades include a larger motor and yoke, "Mr. Sawdust" table, out-feed extensions, LED lights, mobile base, etc.

It is essential to use the correct saw blade on a RAS. Two blades highly recommended for consumer sized saws by the DeWalt Radial Arm Saw Forum are the Forrest Woodworker I (TCP). This particular blade can only be purchased at Sliversmill.com or directly from Forrest by special request (it is not listed on their website). The other blade highly recommended is the Freud LU83, thin kerf combination blade. These are both all-purpose blades suitable for all operations (crosscut, miter, ripping, etc.).
