Walrus Audio Monument V2 Tremolo

The Monument Tremolo is both a harmonic, and standard tremolo that produces a rich, luscious, warm pulsating modulation capable of peaks and valleys as smooth or as jagged as the real ones that our dear mother nature created long ago.

Check out this episode of "Tone Teaser" to see the Monument V2 put its magic on the following tunes:

GRAVITY (John Mayer) – this is the perfect example of how the harmonic tremolo do the difference in giving vibe and vintange halo to a sound. That Fender Brownface tone, so warm and vibrant gives this slow melancholy rhythm part even more depth.

BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS (Green Day) – here we’re trying to reach that sync’ed on/off effect that gives to this simple chord progression a completely different result. A hard standard tremolo with the square waveform is the secret here and Monument nails it.

HOWLIN’ FOR YOU (The Black Keys) – This choppy hyper-trem tone achieved with a very fast rate totally changes the guitar melody of the song. Pushing the Volume of the Monument a little bit higher allows to get back to the original volume which is of course affected by the standard tremolo.

LOVE ON THE BRAIN (Rihanna) – to immediately give a guitar arrangement a vintage and lush sound you can use a fast harmonic tremolo on a classic arpeggio like this. The movement it gives to the notes blends the chords to the rest of the instruments like no other. Because of the short notes of the arpeggio you can use the triangle waveform to reach a delicate but clear tremolo effect.
