Trashtower entry for Pink Floyd Animation Competition 2023
50 year's from the release of "The Dark Side of the Moon".

We are Ignacia & Guillermo a duo of stop motion animators from Chile who work with waste and recycled materials.
For almost two weeks we hiked every day from our cabin to the mountains to animate "The Lunatic" in this nostalgic trip inspired by one of our favorite Pink Floyd songs.

We recorded much of our stop motion animation with the Nikon D5000 reflex camera, and also much of the making of and complementary camera shots with an android cell phone and the Stop Motion Studio App.

The postproduction of the video clip took us 2 months.
We also added 2d animation and compositing.
