Hi music lovers, welcome back to ClevverMusic, I'm your host Bridget Daly. Adele has basically had the best year ever. Her album 21 was just named the UK's top-selling album of the century, as well as Rolling Stone's album of the year. And now iTunes has named the Brit their Artist of the Year! 21 was unsurprisingly their top selling album of 2011, and Rolling In the Deep was their top-selling song of the year. And even though we hope we don't hear that song again for a few more months, it still is an amazing amazing single.
As far as albums go, Mumford and Sons' Sigh No More was surprisingly in second place for sales, followed by Tha Carter 4 by Lil Wayne. And on the singles list, Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO was the #2 single, followed by Katy Perry's FireWork.
