UPDATE APRIL 2023: replacement warning stickers seem no longer available. I recommend the device because 110dbs but because the red warning sticker is not uv protected, it fades and no longer a visual deterrent.

To activate the Police recommended Window Alert Alert:
1: Place on glass with the red sticker outward facing
2: Switch on the device. The short siren means the device is armed.
3: If someone attempts to break-in, the 110dbs siren will trigger and continue for 20 seconds then re-arm itself.
