With Emperor Yoshiro dead, the Empire of the Rising Sun quickly fell under Soviet occupation. Premier Cherdenko views the Empire’s people as superstitious and culturally backward, yet recognizes the value of their advanced technology. He contacts Dr. Gregor Zelinsky to study Imperial technology, only to discover that Zelinsky has mysteriously vanished from his lab.

Cherdenko then deceives the Allies into believing the Soviet people are war-weary, arranging for the Commander to meet Allied leaders at Easter Island under the guise of signing a peace treaty. In reality, Cherdenko has no intention of peace. He plans to use the opportunity to eliminate the supreme commander of the Allied Nations, delivering a devastating blow that would cripple Allied resistance permanently.

The mission requires careful navigation of deception and ambush. The Commander must initially ambush the Allied fleet, neutralize Cherdenko’s fortifications, and feign treaty negotiations, all while preparing to eliminate Soviet forces loyal to the Premier and oversee the destruction of Allied command. Success ensures the Allies are decisively weakened, securing Soviet dominance in the conflict.
