Welcome to the fourth episode of my weekly series dubbed "The Mainframe". Inside this week's topic, we discuss Artificial Inflation inside all Call of Duty Zombie games over the years. Artificial Inflation is when game developers purposely make tasks take longer in the guise of creating a fuller and longer gaming experience. No game is without Artificial Inflation, but what has steered zombies wrong is not "Following the Fun".

Mark Lamnia, former studio head at Treyarch studios, touted how "Following the Fun" was the key to zombies success. From Black Ops 3 to IW Zombies to Black Ops 4 zombies that mantra has evaporated from the players. I break down the examples in this video, suggest how to fix them, and point out why it is an issue.

Sadly this essay ran away from me meaning there will have to be part two to follow up this thought.
