Municipal, Provincial and Federal governments each have emergency legislation in place. This legislation enables them to take special temporary measures to ensure the safety and security of their citizens during an emergency, such as the emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Join our panel of experts as they compare the emergency legislation available at these three levels of government, explore how these measures have been used in the past, and discuss how they work within the Canadian legislative framework.
