Описание к видео Young Street Racing Nissan Altima driver meets the Arkansas State Police PIT MANEUVER

Narrative:
On July 4, 2025, at approximately 2042 hours, Dispatch advised that the Springdale Police Department was in active pursuit of
a silver Nissan Altima bearing Arkansas registration plate ARZ26P. The pursuit was reported near Dodd Avenue and
Scottsdale Street.

I responded from Interstate 49, monitoring radio traffic for updated locations. Dispatch advised the suspect vehicle was
traveling northbound on Old Missouri Road toward Benton County. I exited Interstate 49 at Exit 78 and proceeded westbound
on Monroe Avenue. The pursuit continued northbound on Old Wire Road and approached my location.

I visually confirmed the pursuit traveling northbound on Old Wire Road at McClure Avenue and joined the pursuit as the third
unit behind two Springdale patrol vehicles.
The pursuit continued northbound before the suspect vehicle turned eastbound onto Frisco Cemetery Road and then
northbound onto North Old Wire Road, a gravel roadway. I observed the second Springdale unit disengage, allowing me to
pass and become the secondary unit.

Due to limited visibility caused by dust on the gravel roadway, I maintained a safe distance from the lead Springdale unit to
mitigate the risk of collision in the event of a crash.
The pursuit re-entered an asphalt roadway, continuing north onto South Old Wire Road. I rejoined close proximity with the lead
unit as the suspect turned westbound onto East Post Road. The suspect was observed operating the vehicle recklessly,
weaving through heavy traffic conditions associated with the holiday.

I overtook the lead Springdale unit, becoming the primary unit in the pursuit. The suspect vehicle turned south onto South 1st
Street and continued fleeing in a reckless manner with blatant disregard for public safety.

Identifying a break in traffic and a clear stretch of roadway, I attempted a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI), which was
unsuccessful due to a shallow angle. I re-attempted the maneuver near the intersection of West Gillian Avenue and was
successful in conducting the TVI, causing the suspect vehicle to momentarily stop.

As I turned around, I observed the suspect vehicle continue fleeing by driving against oncoming traffic. Due to the imminent
threat to public safety, I made intentional vehicle contact with the front passenger side fender of the suspect vehicle, pushing it
off the roadway and successfully immobilizing it.

Due to the position of my patrol vehicle (driver’s side window adjacent to the suspect vehicle), I reversed to reposition and exit
safely while minimizing crossfire risk from other responding units. During this repositioning, a Springdale patrol unit collided with
the rear of my vehicle, causing visible damage to the rear bumper and trunk lid.

After safely exiting my patrol car, I observed Springdale officers take the suspect, later identified as Emerson Castellano-Diaz into custody without further incident.

Once the scene was secured, I documented the damage to my patrol unit and the suspect vehicle with photographs, which are
attached to this report. Springdale officers conducted a search of the suspect vehicle and recovered a firearm. They advised
they would handle the remainder of the criminal investigation.

Charges filed by Springdale Police Department against Castellano-Diaz include:

Felony Fleeing
Speeding
Forgery
Tampering with Evidence
No Valid Driver’s License
Open Container
Street Racing
Wrong Way Driving
Minor in Possession of Alcohol
Reckless Driving
Littering
Resisting Arrest
