Get ready for something awesome in the night sky! On the nights of July 29 and 30, two meteor showers will light things up — the Southern Delta Aquariids and Alpha Capricornids. The Delta Aquariids could show up to 20 meteors an hour, and they leave these cool faint trails behind.

The Alpha Capricornids aren’t as fast, but they shoot out big bright fireballs that can outshine stars. If you want the best view, go out late at night or early morning, find a dark spot away from city lights, and look up toward the south. It’s like space is putting on a little fireworks show just for us!
