I moved from Essex (a region to the east of London) to Lyon in France this January. Since being here I've noticed a few differences, some of which I guess you can call culture shocks and I thought it would be interesting to share some of them with you all. Some of these things I really wish I knew before moving to France.
Please do bare in mind though this is just what I've noticed from my experience living in Lyon, Essex and Bangor and that things may be slightly different in other parts of both the UK and France.

Who am I?
