Dickey Betts - Stormy Monday Cover

Dickey Betts played a near perfect solo on the blues chestnut "Stormy Monday" at Fillmore East. Incredible dynamics, tone, articulation, phrasing, etc. Here's my take on it. Thanks to Kemper amps for helping me get the tone. The signal path was my 2018 R9 Les Paul with stock pickups directly into the Kemper. I found a profile called “plexi cranked” from a user named “And44” that sounded fantastic with virtually no tweaking. That was it! Ran the Kemper straight into GarageBand and voilà. No extra EQ, although I did add some reverb to match the backing track.
