2006 VW Touareg 3.2L VR6. Transfer case hi and low selector switch was flashing and not allowing switching between hi and low. Also cruise control was only working sometimes. Vag Com showed a low voltage fault on both controllers. Root cause was a weak battery causing the voltage to drop too low during cranking. The vehicle always started first time even through the winters but it was still weak enough to cause this error.
