"Al DeLoner who's the composer and a founder of this band is the same guy who writes and play for Midnight Choir. He's an incredible songwriter and in this go around he's partnered with the lovely Rikke Knudsen writing the lyrics and singing the songs. Wonderful music. Though they are often described as "roots" or "Americana" they remind me most of the Velvet Underground, Patti Smith and others who did folk/rock with an attitude from back in the day - but with a European flair. This group really deserves some recognition on this side of the pond. If you like them, and you will, then also give a listen to Midnight Choir as well."
