Welcome back to the PuMP youtube channel! As a part of our everything you need to know before pre-med series, we are super excited to help prospective medical professionals gain the insight they need when making program selections and choosing the right path for their own medical journey.

In today’s installment of the series, we will take a look at the University of British Columbia’s Life Sciences program. Over the past couple of years, UBC has been seen as a global leader in the teaching, learning and research of biology. Home to its own medical school, UBC’s sciences program has been considered as a top tier pathway for students to find themselves in the medical field. With numerous possible major choices within the science faculty ranging from majors such as biology, chemistry, pharmacology, biochemistry to even UBC’s very own integrated sciences program — these all constitute UBC’s general life sciences stream.
