Three Thousand Years of Longing had its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2022, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on August 26, 2022, by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (via United Artists Releasing), and in Australia on September 1, 2022, by Roadshow Entertainment
