Surfboard Shaping by Timmy Patterson [Iconic Pipeline Gun Replica]

This is the 2021 Boardroom Show Icons of Foam surfboard shaping competition which honored Pat Rawson. Round 1 featured Timmy Patterson vs Valerie Duprat in a 90 minute heat replicating Pat Rawson’s iconic snapback pipeline gun ridden by Tom Carroll in the 1991 Pipeline Masters surfing competition. Tom Carroll did the famous “snap heard around the world” on this board.

This video showcases Timmy Patterson who is being honored in the 2022 Boardroom Show Icons of Foam Shape-off October 8-9, 2022. I was able to take this board home by purchasing tickets to the VIP dinner. I’ll be replicating the original airbrush design in the next video so be sure to subscribe!
