After the invasion by Russia my thoughts have been with the Ukrainian people all the time, especially with an Ukranian friend and my cousin's wife who is from Ukraine.

The events of the past few days are so tragic. From here I cannot do much for the refugees and people left behind in Ukraine. However, I do play the piano and hope my recording of the Ukraine national anthem offers some comfort to all of you.

Who would have thought the words of the national anthem would sound so urgent in 2022? "Szcze ne wmerla Ukrajiny": Ukraine's glory hasn't perished. Indeed, Ukraine should remain "a free land of our own". Stay strong!
