“THOSE SHOES” SNARE CAM… last night at the Harry Chapin Lakeside Theater in East Meadow, NY with the badass Don Felder. I’ve always loved this song and groove. I used to borrow my dad’s Long Run LP and practice to it as a kid. I couldn’t keep the 16th note hihats going for the whole song. But I was like “someday I’ll have the chops to do that.” And luckily the year I stayed playing with Don, I was finally able to do it!🤪
Also, is this the only song ever that has two talk boxes playing in harmony!? What a funky sound and great idea! How can you not love that! And it’s hard to hear, but it’s another one of Don’s wicked solo! 👍🏼🎊🔥🥁
