Also, it is good to know about India and its Constitution for all the Indians as they are Citizens of India. We have started this video series specially for keeping in mind WBCS 2024 & WBCS 2025. These videos will also be helpful for other exams, all RAILWAYS exams, SSC exams etc. Besides that, these videos will help the Indians to know about India.

In this video we have explained the Article 131 to Article 136 of Indian Constitution in a very Simple Language in Bengali.

Article 131 is written on Original jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. It states that Subject to the provisions of this Constitution, the Supreme Court shall, to the exclusion of any other court, have original jurisdiction in any dispute--
(a) Between the Government of India and one or more Slates;
(b) between the Government of India and any State or States on one side and one or more other States on the other; or
(c) between two or more States, if and in so far as the dispute involves any question (whether of law or fact) on which the existence or extent of a legal right depends:
Provided that the said jurisdiction shall not extend to a dispute arising out of any treaty, agreement, covenant, engagement, named or other similar instrument which, having been entered into or executed before the commencement of this Constitution, continues in operation after such commencement, or which provides that the said jurisdiction shall not extend to such a dispute.

Article 132 is written on Appellate jurisdiction of Supreme Court in appeals from High Courts in certain cases.

Article 133 is written on Appellate jurisdiction of Supreme Court in appeals from High Courts in regard to civil matters.

Article 134 is written on Appellate jurisdiction of Supreme Court in regard to criminal matters.

Article 135 is written on Jurisdiction and powers of the Federal Court under existing law to be exercisable by the Supreme Court.

Article 136 is written on Special leave to appeal by the Supreme Court.
