Animal Crossing is one of Nintendo’s most personal and divisive series. Unlike other franchises where the same few games always sit at the top, every Animal Crossing ranking looks completely different. One player’s favorite is another player’s least favorite and that’s kind of the magic.

In this video, I’m ranking every Animal Crossing game, including mainline entries and spin-offs, from worst to best. From obscure Wii U apps like Animal Crossing Plaza, to controversial experiments like amiibo Festival, to beloved classics like Wild World, City Folk, and the original GameCube Animal Crossing, all the way up to the two giants of the series: New Horizons and New Leaf.

This isn’t about objective quality or sales numbers it’s about how these games felt to play. The routines they created. The villagers you bonded with. The towns that felt like home. I talk about what each game did right, where it fell short, how it aged, and why certain entries resonated with me more than others.
