56277 / 56278 Chikkamagalur -Yesvantpur-Chikkamagalur Fast Passenger (4-11-2014)

16577/ 16578 Harihara - Yesvantpur Intercity Express (7-11-2014)

Krishnarajapuram Diesel Shed WDM-3A 16586 ALCo couldn't have got more lucky than this to bagg the Inaugural run duties for both the new trains.

The Loco gave one hell of a ear deafening Honk which can be noticed in the video.

Interestingly the Harihar Intercity had coaches of the Deccan Queen Express Livery transferred from Central Railways .

Chikkamagaluru is a small town in the state of Karnataka. Located about 250 KM from Bangalore. Chikmagalur is famous for coffee and is known as the 'Coffee land' of Karnataka. The town got its name on to the Railway map in the year 2013 and this is the first Train connecting the town to the state Capital Bangalore.

Harihara is a city located in Davanagere District in the Indian state of Karnataka. Situated on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, 275 kilometers north of Bangalore. is famous for the Harihareshwara temple built in the 12th century during Hoysala's Rule.The neighboring city Davangere is 14 km away, both Harihar and Davangere cities are referred as twin cities like Hubli and Dharwad.
