I have not been able to get to a couple of my favourite trails in a year and a half. I went out checking to see if they are again accessible and I was happy to find out they were.

Going down the first trail it looks like no one has been down it since we were locked out. I had to do some clearing of downed small trees and branches from the trail. The reward was seeing grouse and getting back to a great viewpoint.

The second trail shows that it has been upgraded which means the dreaded logging. Logging is not bad but it does take away some of the places I’ve been going to for the past few years. It does open up new opportunities. I get to see some wildlife and have some snacks from nature. The drone makes an appearance to get some shots of the lake.
