Duran Duran - Reportage

Описание к видео Duran Duran - Reportage

In September 2005, Duran Duran reconvened to write new music for what will be called "Reportage", assisted by engineer Michael Patterson.

The works took place for three weeks at Andrè Agassi & Steffi Graf's mansion in San Francisco, arranged in a recording studio for the occasion.

Nine months after, Sony rejected the material - which would lead the band to talk with producer Youth, hire Timbaland for a couple of singles and break with their original guitarist, Andy Taylor.

Following excitement to the Timbaland sessions in New York, DD opted to put the previous stuff on the shelf and build an entirely new album -later published Red Carpet Massacre.

This video assemblage features the only known notes of that lost material and insight comments at the time, with main filming and editing by Gavin Elder.
