This conversion uses a Zimo MX660 drop in board and a 9mm curved speaker. Stay alive via a SACC16 with 3x 470uf capacitors for backup. As it was a good runner before the stay alive, this amount of capacitance makes slow speed stalling on the track very rare indeed. Sound file from YouChoos.

In order to get a 9mm speaker to fit, the chassis needed milling down but was well worth the effort.
