Benefit Cosmetics Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation Review and Swatches

After wearing the Benefit Cosmetics Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation I really liked the natural finish it gave to my skin. It is really liquid-y and smooths over skin very easily because of that. The sad part is that the liquid consistency of this foundation is in part due to the amount of alcohol they have included in the formula. Sadly, denatured alcohol is the third ingredient. Even though I like the look of the foundation it isn't worth exposing my skin to that much denatured alcohol. My skin definitely noticed the high amount of alcohol by my second or third day wearing this foundation. My skin became very tight and dry by the end of the day. The other thing I wasn't a fan of is the lower amount of SPF they used- SPF 15 which is too low for me to use alone. I wish they had included the couple of beneficial ingredients at higher amounts than the denatured alcohol. The third thing I didn't like about this foundation is that the shade range wasn't as wide a range as I thought it could be. Although I do appreciate the fact that this is fragrance free.
