Recipes
Baked Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds Chicken

Spice Rub Mixture
2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
2 teaspoons Paprika
2 teaspoons thyme
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil, or sunflower oil, or avocado oil

DIRECTIONS
1. Set oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Butterfly chicken into approximately 16 pieces. Then take two pieces of parchment paper or plastic wrap and gently pound chicken to a uniform consistency.
3. Make spice rub
4. Rub evenly over the chicken breasts
5. Then place 4 to 6 chicken breasts in oven for approximately 18 minutes (repeat for the remaining chicken)
6. Then place 4 to 6 chicken breasts in oven safe baking dish
7. Flip your chicken halfway in the cooking process (this helps both sides to get the juice, resulting in moist juicy chicken)
8. After 18 to 20 minutes take a meat thermometer and if at 160 degrees take out of oven.

Turkey Meatloaf from “ The Complete Bariatric Cookbook and Meal Plan” Megan Moore

1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons ketchup, divided
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 pound lean ground turkey
1/2 medium onion
1 garlic clove
1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1 large egg
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Nonstick cooking spray
