Tom Bombadil, Painting Tutorial

"Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow, bright blue is his jacket and his boots are yellow. None has ever caught him yet, for Tom, he is the master. His songs are stronger songs and his feet are faster."

Today we have a painting tutorial for a model you might not expect us to cover so early on the channel, the mystical, powerful and all round merry fellow Tom Bombadil in the continuation of models needed for the Quest of the Ringbearer Campaign.

Widely considered to be one of the, if not the single most powerful being that exists in middle earth it is stated in the book and by Gandalf that he is the eldest and no being could possibly be older than him. Tom comes to the dire aid of our brave Hobbits on the Barrow Downs and vanquishes the Barrowights providing safe haven for our intrepid adventurers before they head on out to continue their quest to Mount Doom.

We'll be exploring in detail how to truly capture the essence of Tom Bombadil, using a combination of rich, earthy tones in conjunction with the bright vibrant hues of yellows and blues to give Tom his characteristic almost garden gnome like look on the tabletop!

Next week we will have another addition to our Two Towers painting series with Gamling and the Royal Standard of Rohan. We also have our first 1000 point battle report pitting Gondor against Cirith Ungol in an epic rematch from their first initial scuffle on the channel. We also have a 1k thank you video coming very soon where we will explain in detail whats upcoming for the channel and show off our Smaug model who will start to get painted in celebration of us hitting this amazing milestone!
