Big Walter Horton - Blues Harp Shuffle

Описание к видео Big Walter Horton - Blues Harp Shuffle

Willie Dixon said, ""Big Walter is the best harmonica player I ever heard." Give him a listen and see. He is not well known and preferred to be a background member of the band...but what bands! He began with The Memphis Jug Band and played with Muddy Waters, Jimmy Rogers, Shines, Tampa Red, Big Mama Thornton, Robert Nighthawk, Johnny Young, Howlin' Wolf, Johnny Winters, Fleetwood Mac, and more. His career highlight was at the end of his life. He toured with Willie Dixon's All Stars and made several solo albums. He had ill health for much of his life and passed away at the age of 64. This is Big Walter Horton playing his own composition, "Blues Harp Shuffle" from "American Folk Blues Festival 1962-1965, Disc. 5". I hope you enjoy his music as much as I do!

Personnel:
Walter Horton - Vocal, Harmonica
