Ramakrishnan Murthy: Raga Kapi

Another video from the FEA vaults featuring the outstanding and much-loved Carnatic vocalist, Ramakrishnan Murthy. This video is from his performance at Sursangam, the 10th Memorial Concert in honour of Prof. Suresh Ramaswamy, at BITS Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus, organised by Srutilaya and co-presented by IndianOil as part of the ongoing "NOW HEAR US" concert series.
In this video Ram performs a popular Thyagaraja composition titled "Inta Soukhyamani" in Ragam Kapi.
He was accompanied by Vittal Rangam on violin and NC Bharadwaj on mridangam, both exceptional musicians in their own right. Tanpura support was provided by R Shivsundar and Darshana Songara.
