Mahwah HS won their regional competition and was invited to perform at
the NJ Gala Concert at Rutgers. MHS is a medium sized school with just
over 1,000 students. They entered their entire 87 member Concert Band
in the competition. Most of the other regional winners were mega
high schools with close to 3,000 enrolled and entering only 40 - 50
member ensembles. The MHS band should be very proud of their
accomplishments. Thank you, Mr. Jeffery Bittner, director!
