Imaging Techniques And Emerging Therapies For Geographic Atrophy

Описание к видео Imaging Techniques And Emerging Therapies For Geographic Atrophy

Optometric physicians often serve as the primary point of detection of geographic atrophy (GA) which is the defining lesion of atrophic AMD. Multimodal imaging is essential to detect, monitor, and quantify GA lesions. This course will explore early high-risk OCT biomarkers that predict or predispose to future GA development as well as OCT and fundus autofluorescence features that predict expansion. Emerging complement inhibitor therapies will be introduced.
