The Vancouver Whalers are an expansion franchise in the MLB as of 2020. This team still has the minor league affiliates from the Houston Astros who after being sued by Major League Baseball, goes bankrupt and is forced to halt all operations. As a result, a new expansion team forms in Vancouver, a city that is hungry for another major sports Franchise and this is where we start our journey. This will be a major rebuild as our roster is made up of free agents and aging veterans who are currently on the open market. Also guys who have been out of baseball due to injury, now have their shot to play at the MLB level. Welcome back to Vancouver baseball!!
